Oaklee funny quotes
In the car today, Oaklee was talking all squeeky and Brian said, "Oaklee, you sound like Wharehouse Mouse"(little mouse off Imagination Movers). Oaklee responded with, "Oh, I didn't know I knew how to speak mouse". She is sooo funny.

Great Christmas Gifts That Keep on Giving
My mom and dad gave me a pressure cooker and John and Brenda gave us money to spend on food storage. Brian stayed home from work today to work around the house and go shopping with me. We bought some roasts and I am canning them now. The meat is really good with different seasonings. So, thank you to our moms and dads! I started a new blog about recipes where my ward can post different recipes and we can all share. I am the only one who has posted yet, but I am sure others will get on the page soon. You should check it out!!
Uncle Greg
My brother, Greg, has been staying with us 3-4 nights a week for the last few weeks. He got a temporary assignment in Cave Creek, but lives in Camp Verde. Staying with us saves him from the commute, but inconveniences him in other ways, I am sure!! The other day, the kids said, "Look new soap". Turns out they used all of Greg's shaving gel all over the bathroom. Greg went to turn on the shower and when he got in, there was a box of taco shells in the tub... oops! He got a kick out of family prayer when the other night during the prayer, a small voice from behind the recliner (Oaklee) started to sing "Mama Mia, here i go again, my my, how can I resist ya". Yeah, it took all we had to not stop the prayer and laugh. They play on his bed while he is at work and get so excited when he gets home. Yesterday he brought his "Flame thrower" to burn the weeds in my yard (he is a licensed forest fire fighter:)). Jaxson kept saying, "No light my house, Greg!". I am so glad they are having fun with him. I am sure he is happy to go home at the end of the week and join in his own family's craziness.
Charlee, Oaklee, and Brian checking out the flames.

It's Been A Long Time
I have been such a bad blogging friend the last couple of weeks. I usually update more often and check out how my friends are doing. I watched a clip from Utube that my Sister in Law sent to me that inspired me to keep up with my great friends. I am scared that I will be going to bed far too soon in this pregnancy, so I thought that I would catch up then, but I feel like I should do it now and not put anything off. You can check out the clip AT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_4qwVLqt9Q

A crazy few days
Well, this week has been a little crazy. Brian and I decided that it was time to sell our house and get into something more in our means. We keep hearing the Prophet tell us to get out of debt and that would be very hard to do while living in my dream home. Over the last few days, we have been painting, touching up, and cleaning to prepare to list it. My house looks GREAT!! I am so excited about the possibilities. I feel so at peace about this decision, so I know it is right for us!
I have also been feeling a little nauseated the last few days and unbelievably tired. I had to start taking my meds that control my morning, afternoon, and evening sickness. It makes me tired and a little irritable. My family would disagree with the "Little" term when it comes to my moodiness, but I am trying!:)
I went to take Oaklee to school yesterday. This was our conversation:
M: Let's go to school.
O: No, I already learned everything.
M: Oh yeah? What is the capital of Arizona?
O: B
Hmmmm?? Yeah, she still has more to learn!!

Feeling Inspired- A Rant from Scottee
My visiting teachers shared a great message with me today and I wanted to share it here with my friends. The title is "Stand Strong and Immovable in Faith"
I wanted to share this passage with you:
Elder M. Russell Ballard says:
"Your testimony of Jesus Christ is the most important anchor that you can have to help hold you, steadfast and immovable, to principals of righteousness, regardless of the challenges and temptations that may come in the future."
I think of all the challenges that have come my way in the last few years and I am astounded that I made it through. I think of all of the blessings that have come in the last few years and my breathe is taken away. I am so blessed. Someone out there has it harder than I do. Many people have it harder than I do and I am so thankful for my testimony in Jesus Christ and the knowledge it gives me to help me to withstand and be grateful for my challenges. If you want to read the whole message, go to www.lds.org and click on the visiting teaching message for January. It is great!!

Have I made Heavenly Father into a Villan?
I was showing my kids what the new baby looks like this morning on the computer. I said something like, "Hopefully this one can come live with us". To this, Jax replied, "No Box" (this is what they call a coffin). Then Oaklee said, "Yeah, Don't let Heavenly Father get this one. He already has one." Have I taught my kids that Heavenly Father takes people and we are mad about it? When we lost Trevee, Brian told them that Heavenly Father asked if Trevee could live with him and we said yes. Oaklee asked why we said yes. We told her that when Heavenly Father asks, we say yes. This morning made me realize that I need to talk about how grateful I am that Heavenly Father kept Trevee for me. I know that she was meant to come here for a very short time and go back to be with him. I am so excited for another baby to come join our family and I want them to thank Heavenly Father for this, not begrudge him for keeping Trevee.

Good Intentions!!
So, I started the Fit Club last week before I found out that I was pregnant. Being Pregnant is different for me than it is for others. Doctors tell people to continue exercising and being active... Not me!! I need to taker it easy and since daily exercise makes up 2 of the 10 points, I quit the Fir Club!! I know... What a slacker. So, good luck to all of my fellow Fit Clubbers. Enjoy my $10 contribution to the cause!!:)
Spring Festival Cut Outs
I made boards with holes in them for heads to go in. They are for the Fairytale Festival for our school in March. It was fun painting them. I love when I have time to use my creativity. My kids and Greg and Nancy and their kids all took turns putting their heads through. Cute, Huh??

The New Blob of Cells
I just posted the widget for the new baby on my blog today... It is kind of not cute!! I went to the Doctor on Wednesday and got to look at my little blob of cells. I know that sounds a little mean, but that is what he/she looked like. I go back next Thursday for another ultrasound. They are going to be VERY careful with me this pregnancy (Like they were so lenient before). Dr. Erickson wants me to have a weekly ultrasound to check the length of my cervix. When it starts to shorten at all, I go into bed for the duration. I am also going to see the Perinatologist to see if he wants to stitch my cervix closed. I am not so sure about this one, but I will wait and see what he has to say. I am hoping that Heavenly Father will give me a break on this one. I gave Trevee to him and I am not even mad about it. Maybe he will reward me??? If not, I am okay with that. I hope I don't have a rough time, but I will do what I have to to bring my baby home. If by some chance, history repeats itself, I will be sad, but I know that I will be okay. Heavenly Father has blessed me with so much and I am grateful for what I have been given. I am so excited about the sweet baby inside of me. The kids are pretty happy, too. They keep rubbing my fat tummy. It is fat, not baby that they rub, so I don't know how I feel about it:)
