We had such a great holiday. First we went to Brian's Family, then off to the Pages!
Here is Greg and Andi... so cute:)They played with toys. Classy 70's shirt, Devin!
Great Grandma Barry with Andi.
Uncle Brian and Andi.
Greg (Oaklee lovingly calls him "the Greg with no hair"), Nancy, and my mom, Randee.
Kenzee and mom.
Oaklee had to pee... can you tell?
The boys played boccie ball. Amazingly, no one was hit in the head
Andi was pooped!
What a great day!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Wonderful Little Lady

Charlee sitting with a bunch of boys during National Anthem Day at school. Charlee was in charge of family home evening. Brian and I were sick on Sunday, so she made the lesson. She took a whole 50 pack of plates and wrote about the Golden Plates... Well, kind of! Charlee lost another tooth. It was hanging by a thread, so when I was flossing her, I "accidentally" slipped the floss under and POP it came out. She was so happy. That makes 5 teeth. She can't eat corn on the cob now for sure:)

I love Charlee! She is the best big sister that I know. She loves to hug and be hugged. She is one of those quite kids that I worry comes off as snobby, but her shy, sweet spirit draws kids to want to be her friend. I love her and I am so proud that I get to be her mom!

Thanksgiving Day Feasts

Oaklee's kindergarten invited the first and second graders to their feast at school. They said a poem and a song. It was so cute. Oaklee's teacher said something nice about each student. About Oaklee, she said, "Oaklee adds a lot of spark to our classroom!" I think that means she is kind of nuts. Charlee said it was "lame" which was her first "school learned slang".
Here is Pilgrim Charlee (Oaklee calls it a program, not a pilgrim) The kindergartners were all Indians.
The first and second graders were pilgrims.
Oaklee sure makes a great Indian!
Grandma, Jaxson, Bastian, and Makoa enjoyed the show.
They sat around a pretend table on the floor.
Andee enjoyed the excitement. A teacher was recording the whole thing. We were standing next to her and Andee let out a huge burp... Real classy, baby!
Jaxson and Bastian had a feast at their school, too!
Here they are saying their sounds!
Bastian was a cute Indian!
Jaxson was the most handsome little Indian I know!
Oaklee made a hat, too. She just had to join in the party.
Prim, proper little Charlee!
They loved the food! Did you know Bastian likes pumpkin pie??? Yeah, me neither! But he does! Way to go my good eating men!

Jax is learning to pee standing up... everywhere!
Nancy gave me a funny tip. He throws a Froot Loop into the potty and aims to hit it!
It is funny to watch, but it is working GRRRRRREAT! (That may be Frosted Flakes??)

New Moon... Swoon!

I love Twilight.
I love the books and I loved the first movie.
After seeing the second movie, I realized how lousy the first one really was!
I loved New Moon. This is amazing because it was my least favorite of the series.
I took Andi with me... not so smart, but oh well. I don't think I missed that much.
Brian is taking me tonight for a date to see it again. Yeah!! Whoo Hoo!!

Cute Jaxson

I have had some cute chats with Jax lately. Our conversation tonight went like this:

M: Jaxson, I love you.
J: I love you, too, mom.
M: I think you are handsome.
J: Mom, I think you are beautiful.

Doesn't that just melt any Mom's heart?

On Wednesday morning, I got up to make breakfast and get the kids ready for school. I had this conversation with Jaxson:

J: Dad wants you to go give him hugs.
M: Where is he?
J: In bed.
M: I will go give him hugs after I finish cooking the eggs.
J: You go give Dad hugs... I will guard the eggs.

I sure love my little man!

Baby Love

The boys LOVE to hold the baby.
Every morning Jax asks if she is going to sleep all day and if he can hold her when she wakes up. He is a good little daddy. Is this the cutest picture or what? Bastian loves to kiss baby Andi and he LOVES to hold her and make her laugh.
It is such a joy to have these kids in our home. 5 kids seems like a lot, but after you are outnumbered with 3, 5 is not so different... It just takes a little longer to get in and out of the car:)

The Joy of Working with TOOLS!!!

They are definately cute enough to pull this off:)

"Scotteefying"

So, Andee is really spelled Andi, but I figured that since she is all spiffied up with bows and frilly stuff while she lives with me that I would spell her name with my signature "ee". (Charlee, Oaklee, Journee, Trevee) I hope she won't mind later:) Now, could I spell Bastian with "ee" somehow??? mmmmm?? hehehe

Halloween 2009

Jaxson really enjoyed his candy:) We only went down one street and up the next, but look at all this loot!
Grandma came with us trick or treating!
Thumbelina (Oaklee), Buzz Lightyear (Jax), Strawberry shortcake (Brinlee), A Flower (Andee), Snow White (Charlee), Spiderman (Bastian), A Tractor (Makoa), and Tinkerbell (Afton)
At the Trunk or Treat!

If you turn sideways, you can see me and Nancy and Andee trick or treating!
Scary Spiderman eating something healthy!!!!
Beautiful Charlee!
Our family and Bastian and Andee!

The Primary Program

Charlee and Oaklee are participating in the primary program today at church. This is where all of the primary aged kids (ages 3- 12) sing and talk in Sacrament Meeting. It is such a spiritual experience to see all of these sweet children share their testimonies. They had a practice yesterday in the chapel. We went to the ASU game, so we got the low down this morning. Charlee told us, "I speak clearly in the microphone... Oaklee can't reach the microphone. Even with the step stool. They had to bring a chair for Oaklee." Pretty funny:)

The ward campout!

We had so much fun at the ward campout. It was so cold! I was so glad we had our trailer with a heater!
Greg collected firewood. The kids had so much fun making marshmallows!
Aren't we just so cute?
Thanks go out to Tara who made the s'mores. I hate doing that!
