A Little About My Funny Guy

Jaxson came into me last night with the triangle from the pool table around his neck. You know the thing that racks up the balls into the triangle. I asked him why he had it on his head and he said, "Look, I am a pool table". His potty sings when any liquid lands on the sensor. He keeps peeing in his pull up and going in there and having 3 drops make it sing and demand a candy. He loves me so much!! He gives me "nose kisses" or Eskimo kisses. He is such a boy, constantly talking about his "beep beep". He likes "boy shows" like spiderman and batman and cars and incredibles. He always tells us this so we remember he is a little man. He loves to say Moron when he thinks I can't hear him. He makes me happy and laugh everyday. Love Ya, Jax.

I love this pic of him watching Elmo in his Superman jammies.

14+ Weeks

So, this is my tummy at 14 weeks. My hair looked bad, so I cut it off in the editing room hehe. My sister in law, Allison, put a bag over her head. As I am getting fatter, the bag is looking better and better :). But I am feeling good this week. Keeping everything down and the sleepiness is easing up just a bit. I am trying to prepare my life to go into bed in the next 4-6 weeks for the duration... Looking for a nanny for the kids is proving to be a challenge. I had a great girl when I went down with Trevee, but she is a senior and needs to have fun:) Brian is being more optimistic and hoping the new weekly progesterone injections will postpone my bed rest. I am being realistic. I went down in bed with Oaklee and Jax and Trevee at 20 weeks, so I want to be prepared and hope for the best:) I would consider it a real big success to stay home in bed and not have an extended stay in the hospital (5 weeks is too long in the hospital). The ultimate success will be bringing home a healthy, happy baby:) That is my goal. I will lay down for the whole time if I get that:) Whoo Whoo SEXY sweatsuit!!

Baby Name!!

I thought of a cute baby girl name. You all know the rules for girl names in my house: Boy name ending in "ee" (Randee, Scottee, Kenzee, Charlee, Oaklee, Trevee). I think it was Anya that suggested Journee. I am kind of liking Journee LaBelle Barry. LaBelle is this baby's great grandma Barry... I guess we have to see if it is a boy or girl before we name it!! I am drawing a blank on a boy name. I like Broxton, but Brian hates it. Any Ideas??

Star Wars- According to Oaklee

Brian was watching Star Wars with the kids. He told Jax and Oaklee that that guys name is Obie One Kanobie(misspelled!!). He asked Oaklee a few seconds later who it was and she said, "Oh, ummm Joseph Smith? or Jesus's Brother?"

Funny Video of Kids

Charlee and Oaklee were watching Mama Mia with headphones on. The did not realize how loud they were singing. You may need to lighten your screen a little to see Oaklee good. We did not get the "good singing" gene in our family:) She tries, though!!

Our new Van!!

After sharing my like of minivans a couple of days ago, we decided to trade in our old car.
This is our old car!! Lovely isn't she. This is our new van. It is a Dodge Grand Caravan.
I never wanted one of these, but this one has lots of perks.

Here is Brian in the back with the kids watching a movie. It came with 2 sets of headphones. With 3 kids, guess what we will be buying(another set). It has 2 flip down screens and one in the front if the car is in park. I guess it would not be safe to watch while I drive:)
It has these cool booster seats built in. Pretty cool if I am picking up extra kids. It also has what looks like airplane lighting along the entertainment bar on the top of the van. I am still rearranging car seats to find the best mix for the fam. I am thinking Oaklee in the back by herself because she seems to fight with everyone!! Maybe some alone time could do her some good:)

One Thing I Never Thought I Would Be...

A Mini Van Mom!!! Yeah. I love my van. I looked at a Chrysler Aspen and thought how impractical that car would be for me and my soon to be 4 car seats. Charlee will be 6 in a couple of months, so she needs a booster still. They say 8 years old and 80 pounds is safe. I don't know if Oaklee will be 80 pounds when she starts to drive herself, so she is still in a 5 point harness car seat. Jax weighs more than O, but still needs to be in a 5 point as well. The new baby will have to be in a backward facing seat for a year, so I need all of the seats a minivan has to offer. I have to buckle in 3 of the four myself(Oaklee lies and doesn't buckle in and laughs when she gets away with it). I can't be climbing over seats to buckle and unbuckle kids. I am too OLD for that!!hehe
I never thought I would drive a minivan, let alone love it and rave about it. So this is a shout out to all my minivan friends. It IS COOL to drive a van!!

My Demented Children

I was saying prayers with Charlee tonight when she starts laughing her head off. I peeked up to see Oaklee standing on her bed, hands on the wall, shaking her butt like there is no tomorrow. What is wrong with my kids?? I don't shake my butt everywhere. I have to admit, Oaklee has skills, but still... During prayers??? I am a bad mom. I think it is funny. My mom said it was spring break, let her have some fun:)

Pet Peeves

So, most things don't bug me, but there are a couple of pet peeves I would like to share with my blogging peeps:)
1. The sound bar stools make when they are dragged across the floor.
2. When everyone is waiting for an off ramp on the freeway and that jerk that pulls up to the front and butts his way in. I don't like that person.
3. The sound of popping knuckles.
4. The sound of Brian chewing his nails makes my skin crawl.
5. I am sure there are more things to be annoyed by, but these are my big ones.

Thanks for listening to my rant. What are your pet peeves? Did I forget any important ones?

Found Pic

This is a funny picture I found of Jax and his cousin, Makoa(Greg's youngest), at Christmas. You gotta love the comfort with his masculinity Jaxson is showing by holding Barbie Diamond Castle and crossing his legs!!

I hate being sick!!

So, I threw up the entire pregnancy with Charlee, Oaklee, and Jaxson. I stopped being sick at about 4 months with Trevee. We all know how well that turned out. I hate to be sick, but if I need to hurl daily to bring home a healthy baby, I will do it!! Still, It is something I need to remind myself daily.

Scratch that whole good first day of spring break...

Oaklee just filled Jaxson's church shoes with mustard... WHY YOU ASK??? I don't know. I yelled. I cursed while I cleaned mustard out of my carpet. Then I asked her why she did it. Through tears, she said, "I thought it was ketchup, not mustard". What the heck difference does that make?? Breathe, Scottee, Breathe...

First Day of Spring Break

So, I was awaken by Jax opening a door and setting off the alarm. Then, at breakfast, we went over the rules and consequences with the kids. We added the rule, "Making Messes for No Reason". The consequence is they have to clean it up without wining or get soap in the mouth. Soap seems to be the only consequence they care about. I am tired of the little "bickering" problems we have going on around here. Today has been great. I guess the threat of soap has been enough for today:) Maybe all of spring break could be fight free!!!

A mom can always wish!!

The Bra- Thanks Brenda!!

What Religion is Your Bra?
A man walked into the ladies department of Myer's
and shyly walked up to
the woman behind the counter and said,
'I'd like to buy a bra for my wife. '
' What type of bra?'
asked the clerk.
'Type?' inquires the man, 'There's more than one type?'' Look around,'
said the saleslady,
as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size, colour and material imaginable.
'Actually, even with all of this variety, there are really only four types of bras to choose from .'
Relieved, the man asked about the types.
The saleslady replied:
'There are the Catholic,
the Salvation Army,
the Presbyterian,
and the Baptist types.
Which one would you prefer?'
Now totally befuddled,
the man asked about
the differences between them.
The Saleslady responded,
'It is all really quite simple. .
The Catholic type supports the masses;
The Salvation Army type lifts the fallen;
The Presbyterian type keeps them staunch and upright;
The Baptist type makes mountains out of molehills.'
Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and H are the letters used
to define bra sizes?
If you have wondered why,
but couldn't figure out
what the letters stood for,
it is about time
you became informed!
(A} Almost Boobs...
{B} Barely there...
{C} Can't Complain!..
{D} Dang!...
{DD} Double dang!...
{E} Enormous!...
{F} Fake...
{G} Get a Reduction...
{H} Help me, I've fallen
and I can't get up!...
Is this post just plain tacky or what?? I laughed, though.

My 200th Post: An Ode to Brian

My cute hubby and I made a deal this morning. I told him I would clean the whole house if he cleaned the toy room. I think he thought he was getting the good end of the stick... Yeah, not so much. I had my share done and took a nap in the time it took him to clean the toy room. He did such a good job, though. Check it out!!

Check out the clean, organized closet. The other day it was so messy that Oaklee stood on a pile of junk and took stuff off the top shelf. That is like 6 feet high of toys and junk!!

Thanks Honey, I owe you one!!winkwink

Go Devils!!

Jaxson loves ASU. It was one of his first words. He yells "Go Devils" whenever football is on. He loves "Big Farky". He wants a "Big Farky" room when we move. I have a great idea. I want to paint his next room like a stadium. Like the carpet is the middle of the football field? Okay, I guess you will all have to wait and see to get the full picture:)

Meet Frank!!

My Mom's friend, Sue, got a new turtle named Frank.

They took the kids over to meet him.

Check out Oaklee and her little plastic turtle in her shadow and Frank.

I Rock!!

I made the mistake of ordering a 40 pound box of apples the week before the Fairytale Festival. Luckily, they all stayed good and today, I learned a new skill. I made homemade apple pie filling. I made 14 jars and still have more than 1/2 a box of apples left. My sister in law gave me an applesauce recipe that I am going to try with the other half of the box. I am so proud of myself. Brian asked if it would be cheaper to buy applesauce at the store. I told him to leave me alone and carry the 40 pound box of apples:) I know he will be excited about the yummy apple pie filling with his ice cream. I decided that my favorite part of canning is hearing the little "POP" when the lids seal. It is such a satisfying noise. I realize I need to get a life, but hey,my house sure smells good!!

Blame it on the Hormones.

I keep reading and hearing about people loosing babies. It is not supposed to be this way. They are supposed to get old and bury us. I never thought My husband and I would have to order a 18 inch pink casket. I cry when I hear about people loosing their sweet babies. I know why and I understand why, but it seems to be happening more now than ever. Or maybe it is something that touches my heart more fully now that I have one of my children in Heaven waiting for me. I get scared that this little baby may not come. I am sure this is a natural fear, but I want it here so badly. I will blame this post on the hormones... dry my eyes... and keep going... happily:)

The Fairytale Festival Part Two!!

The Kids with Dewey the Water Droplet.
My Wimpy kids did not pet most of the animals in the petting zoo.

This Duck bit Greg in the butt... Pretty funny to his sister.
Jaxson on the pony ride with Grandpa.
Oaklee on a pony with Dad. Charlee was too wimpy to get on.
Our clan waiting in the pony ride line. Check out Oaklee in front... funny.
Makoa checking out the ponies through the fence.
Our group with Smokey Bear (aka Uncle Greg).
Charlee got a rainbow face paint.
Oaklee got a dolphin.
Makoa was pooped out by the end of the day. He was sticky from cotton candy and was chasing 7th grade girls around. Such a little flirt.

It was such a fun day... I can't wait until next year... or can I???

The Fairytale Festival

Today was the Fairytale Festival for our school. It went great! We have been planning since October and it went better than I expected. I was in charge of Ticket Sales and Advertising. This was fun for me. I love to make posters and to see how well they are received. I had a great helper named Rachelle. It was fun getting to know someone new. I will post the pics later... Now I am going to bed!! 10 hours makes for a long day for a fat Prego! I also won 2 raffle prizes. A cute beach basket and 25 burritos from Baja Fresh(Brian was stoked about that win). All in all, great day, but very exhausting and very worth the smiles on the kids faces!

Things I May Regret Later

So, I have been thinking about the fall at school. I love my kid's Charter School. It is great. I have met many great people and have had fun being on different committees, but they are on my short list today. Oaklee does not turn 5 until September 15th and the cutoff date for our school is September 1st. So What? Do I hold Oaklee back for a whole year because she is 2 weeks too late (She was born 5 weeks early... If she followed the rules, we wouldn't have this topic to cover). Oaklee loves to try to read. She is getting good and she is READY for Kindergarten. Well, there is a new charter school going up by our house. They will take Oaklee. I respect many of the people involved with the start up of this new school. They talked me into going where Charlee is now and I am so glad I went there. Will I regret moving Charlee? Will I regret starting Oaklee early? My little sister in law was held back because of her BDay. All of her church friends are in 8th grade while she is in 7th. That stinks!! But then I think of having my 13 year old in high school where some 19 year old Senior will like her and cringe. High School is also the only time to go to dances and she can't do that until she is a Junior. That stinks too. See my Dilemma?? Any Advice??

Bad Mom Bad Mom Bad Mom

Right when Jax got his new potty, Oaklee took out the pee guard thing and said, "Jaxson, you put your weenie in here and it will catch the pee". True, but a little girl shouldn't be teaching the boy to pee. I hope the new baby is a boy so Jax can teach someone else his wisdom later. He put his potty in Brian's bathroom because, "Boy potty in boy bathroom. Jaxson and daddy have beep beeps"(his word for weenie). Yes. I am so bad for posting this, but I laughed my head off and I thought some of you may get a kick out of it. hehe

My Little Man!!

The New Potty
The candy bowl (had to move it already:))

I have a CRAZY week this week, so why did I decide to choose this week to start potty training Jax??? Because he is sooooo ready!! He went pee 6 times today and stayed dry all day. Yeah. He likes to go so he can get a piece of candy. I have resorted to bribery with my baby. I am just so excited to have no kids in diapers. This has not happened for more than 6 years. At one point we had 3 kids in 3 sizes of diapers. I am looking forward to the new baby's diapers. They aren't as gross as a 3 year old... EEEWWW!! Brian thinks Jax will kill me when he sees this pic, but it is too funny to hold back.
