First Day of School

Bastian went to school with Jaxson today. He did so well! Lorene said that he sang the songs, played the games, and did so well. Jaxson helped him learn the rules of the classroom and they had so much fun together!

Andee and Bastian

We have had the chance to have our niece and nephew stay with us these last few weeks. Going from 3 to 5 kids is quite an adjustment, but we are having so much fun:) Andee is 12 weeks and soooo much fun. She found her hands today. It is so cute. Bastian is 3 and quite the funny guy. He and Jaxson are the best of friends. They run around, actually, chase each other around. He is going to start going to preschool with Jaxson. They are really excited about that. So, we have a 6,5,3,3, and 12 week old kid!! Busy at the Barry house... and loving it:)

The Need to Blog!!

I am 30!!
I had the best birthday ever on Friday!
I woke up to roses and cards from Brian and the kids. I also got a certificate to buy any ipod I want, but I decided to buy tall leather boots instead:)
My cute mom took me for an hour long massage while Jax was at school. My sweet dad got me beautiful yellow roses. My great in laws got me a cool new purse (Eat your heart out, Brooklynn). Brian and I went to Ah- So for dinner. Fillet and lobster always tastes better on your birthday:) The chef at our table was great. He was this way funny Mexican guy dressed in the traditional Japanese clothes. He said he used to be a cook at Filibertos and applied to be a dish washer and they told him to come cook (He was joking!).It was such an awesome day!!

Our Week

Oaklee, Charlee, and I have all been sick.
Oaklee had the chills and laid in the sun from my bedroom window. She even put on her sunglasses:) Makoa and Brinlee came to play. My visiting teachers brought a plate of treats. They ate them all. hehe
This is the color spirit shirt the Kindergartners picked. They are sure BRIGHT!
We went to watch ASU football. The team had a rough one, but we had a good time:)
This is just a fun picture of our family with Sparky the Sundevil!

Oaklee's Tooth

The root in Oaklee's front tooth was broken when she fell on her face when she was two. It turned a little brown over the years, but a couple of weeks ago it started to turn black... eeewww! I took her to the dentist and we had the option to root canal and cap the tooth she will loose in a year ($$$$$) or have it pulled. So, here is my cute Oaklee without her front tooth!

She had to have a thing of gauze in her mouth for half the day. She got the glasses, the toys, and the balloons from the Dentist's office. I thought she looked sooo cute!

Charlee's Lunch Special

Is it bad that I just cooked up a petite sirloin steak to put into Charlee's lunch? Brian thinks it is pretty spoiled, but the kid is so picky when it comes to eating the lunches I pack and steak is one thing I know she will eat. Some days she just eats her fruit roll up all day. She is usually so hungry when she gets home. I would have loved the lunches I pack for her when I was a kid. We did not get "prepackaged" stuff. We did not have 6 things in our lunch boxes with a juice box and all. I did not know what a juice box was until I got married (jk). We were lucky to get the real mac and cheese, not the store brand... eeewww! My kids on the other hand like to have Velveeta Shells and Cheese. Of course... It is 3 times the cost of mac and cheese when it is on sale. Yeah, way spoiled kids:) Cute beyond measure, but spoiled!!

Bad, Hot Mom!!

We realized yesterday that we forgot Trevee's birthday. Yeah, what a bad mom! I guess this goes to show that life moves on! So, Happy Birthday, Baby Trevee. We all love you!

Oh, and I am hot. Our AC broke today and we are at 87 degrees right now in the house!! ARRRRRRR!!!! Did I mention I hate renting???

I'm BACK!!

I have been so neglectful of my blog. I guess I need to get my priorities back in order:)

Well, my life has consisted of mainly PTO stuff 24 hours a day. I am having a ball! I made it through the summer and seem to be busier now that the kids are all in school. Oh, and I am a farmer now... a pig farmer. My kids have turned into these cute little piggies around the house.

Jaxson is having a lot of fun in Preschool. He can count to 8 in spanish very well. His writing is pretty bad, but I am pretty sure that will get better.

Oaklee is excelling in school as well. She makes her teacher laugh all the time. She had a little incident in school where she got locked in the classroom. The teacher counted everyone to go to lunch. After Oaklee was counted, she decided to go into the classroom's restroom to wash her hands and forgot to tell the teacher. She told me, "I came out of the bathroom and everyone was gone. The door was locked, so that was the big problem. I dragged the chair over to the door and reached up real high and unlocked it. Then I started to cry. Then I went out and found the bathroom lady and she found my teacher!" Her poor teacher was crying looking everywhere for Oaklee. It was a happy reunion!!!

Charlee is very happy. She is doing well in school and is having so much fun. She told me that she had a new friend in 2nd grade and they formed a club. I asked her name and Charlee did not know it, so I am not sure how strong the friendship is:)

Brian has been busy on the Grand Jury. He has to go 2 days a week for 4 months and do jury duty. He finds it interesting, but has to complete 5 days of work in 3 days for his job that pays us more that the $13/ day the county does.

Today was my goal date for having Journee. If I could make it until August 19th, I could bring home a healthy, happy baby girl. Wow. Alot has happened since April 24th. I know that she knows I would have done anything to get her here safely. I know Heavenly Father must have more important things for her to do up there! Still stinks, though!
