Our Lawn Adventure.

Last year we planted our winter grass three times and it never came up. It turned out our ground was too hard for the roots to get in the dirt. Well, this year Brian was not going to have that happen. He rented a tiller from Home Depot and went over the grass area 3 times. So many rocks!!

Then he had to rake the whole area clear of most of the big rocks. Jaxson had so much fun doing the male bonding thing!!

Then he seeded the ground and covered it in "Cow Poop". Oaklee cam in the house and told me that dad stunk like poop. I thought it was pretty funny. He had it caked in his leg hair and when he took off his socks, this is what it looked like. I threw away his socks. GROSS!!

He is so funny about watering it. We have a sprinkler system, but he thinks it was important to get the spots a little better.

We planted last Saturday, and today we have lots of grass on one side. Brian added a rainbow sprinkler to the side that he feels needs more water. I guess we will have to wait and see if we did it.
